Habitat: Mostly found in damp and cool places such as laundry rooms.

  Reproduction: Produce over one hundred eggs in lifetime with eggs hatching in one to two months. Adults can live up to eight years.

  Misc: Feed on starchy material, glue, book bindings, wall paper, clothing, cereal, leather, dead insects. The presence of silverfish usually means that there is standing water.
